I think that half of the population is stupid. They get taken by those acting skills that Republican presidents have used since Ronald Reagan. The always "optimistic" smile they all have put on their faces always looked so fake to me, just as much as the "indignified" look they always chose for those "angry" moments. They always had professionals writing these statements for them. It was all an act. So, I truly appreciate President Obama's staying in touch with the intelligent people, the other half, who don't need those fake reactions to disasters. It's been proven that a calm reaction gives the brain a better flow of great ideas for solutions.

I am from Lancaster and just wanted to mention that democratic candidate for Governor, Jack Wagner immediately declined the invitation but the group listed him anyhow as an 'oops'. They have finally taken his name off of all of there posts but not after blogs across the nation picked up the story with his name on it. Nice attempt at a smear campaign.

I love that they asked for “Public Defenders” (and they thought they could bring down our government), undercover FBI agent, sweet. Since their inception the Tea party crowd (not a movement since they do have the numbers or clout) because they are haters not debaters or as others have dubbed them screamers not dreamers. The simpleton Tea baggers are the same whiners that were crying when the McCain/Bailin ticket lost. Now that their yelling and screaming failed to stop the health care debate and the bill from passing they are crying again. Let’s face it the Republicans had eight years to deal with health care, immigration, climate change and financial oversight and governance and they failed. The Republicans are good at starting wars (two in eight years, with fat contracts to friends of Cheney/Bush) but not at winning wars as seen by the continuing line of body bags that keep coming home. Instead of participating in the health care debate of ideas the Republicans party turned inward to their old fashion obstructionist party. In my opinion the Republican Waterloo loss was caused by the party allowing a small portions (but very loud) of the republican party of “birthers, baggers and blowhards” to take over their party. I will admit that this fringe is very good at playing “Follow the Leader” by listening to their dullard leaders, Beck, Hedgecock, Hannity, O’Reilly, Rush, Savage, Sarah Bailin, Orly Taitz, Victoria Jackson, Michele Bachmann and the rest of the Blowhards and acting as ill programmed robots (they have already acted against doctors that perform abortions). The Tea party crowd think they can scare, intimidate and force others to go along with them by comments like “This time we came unarmed”, let me tell you something not all ex-military join the fringe militia crazies who don’t pay taxes and run around with face paint in the parks playing commando, the majority are mature and understand that the world is more complicated and grey than the black and white that these simpleton make it out to be and that my friend is the point. The world is complicated and presidents like Hamilton, Lincoln, and Roosevelt believed that we should use government a little to increase social mobility, now it’s about dancing around the claim of government is the problem. The sainted Reagan passed the biggest tax increase in American history and as a result federal employment increased, but facts are lost when mired in mysticism and superstition. Although some Republicans are trying to distant themselves from this fringe most of them, having no game plan/ vision for our country, are just going along and fanning the flames. For a party that gave us Abraham Lincoln, it is tragic that the ranks are filled with too many empty suits. But they now claim they have changed, come on, what sucker is going to believe that? All I can say to you is remember Waterloo.

You say you are still waiting for those "rightwingnuts" to explain how gay marriage hurts them. Well I am proud to be one of those "rightwingnuts"!! In fact, I am so proud that perhaps we should stage a "Rightwingnuts Pride Parade" through San Francisco. On second thought, maybe not. The gay heterophobes of SF would likely kill us and claim their god (The Almighty Lord Pea Nis) told them to do it. (Isn't it interesting that heterosexuals have far less protection, under the law, than homosexuals; and then those heterophobes call themselves persecuted. Go figure!)

So how does gay marriage hurt society?
1. It discriminates against children by depriving them of their RIGHT to have a real father and mother.
2. It deludes people into accepting the lie that there is no ultimate right and wrong. Instead right and wrong are whatever we decide them to be.
3. It attempts to normalize something that is not normal.
4. It violates the principles of every major world religion.
5. It further erodes the meaning of marriage
6. It further opens the door to defining all sorts of other perversions as being "normal".
7. It further opens the door to other groups claiming they should have equal rights too. For example, children should have the right to have sex with adults, or other children, as long as they both consent.
8. It is leading the gay community is politicize our schools and distract them from meaningful learning by doing such stupid things as a National Day of Silence or rewriting history to make Harvey Milk a role model instead of a cheap, 2 bit, .......
9. It is forcing people of deep religious and/or moral convictions to shut up for fear of prosecution by the state or threats, intimidation and injury by radical gay heterophobes.
10. It teaches kids that it's okay to threaten, deface, injure, or lie in order to get their way.
11. It totally rejects the fact that some homosexuals change to heteropsexual
12. Many gay claims fly in the face of recent findings by neuroscience which show the brain is NOT hard wired but very plastic and amazing changes can be made in it. Since sex is mainly in the brain, that opens the door to homosexuality being changed. But since gays reject the idea of change, they refuse to objectively look at that possibility. And they make fun of anyone who thinks change is possible.

These are just a few of the effects of gay marriage and homosexuality on society. There are MANY, MANY more!!

Maybe you should recall that prop 8 was not just passed by Christians or just one particular religious entity... but also by millions of concerned familys about the dissolution of what God has called sacred. But no matter what you opinion is at the end of the day.. God still sits on the throne.. and will come again to bring judgment to the wicked.
